I finally found the solution to why the SAP login screen wasn’t remembering the last user IDs I used.
If you’re facing the same issue, follow these steps:
Navigate to the folder:
C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\SAP\SAP GUI\History\SAP_Cache_<USERNAME>
Delete the file named SAPHistory<USERNAME>.mdb found in that directory.
SAP GUI will automatically create a new file, and the problem will be fixed. The system will now remember your previous SAP login IDs again.
There’s no need to reinstall the GUI or make any other changes.
